Get to know Meg

Favorite restaurant:

In Upstate NY, the Brewster Inn in Cazenovia, and in South Florida, a tie between Sassafras, Renato’s, and HMF at the Breakers (who doesn't love the Breakers!?). Wait, can I add Al Fresco, too? There are too many great ones.

Ideal day off from work:

Starts with my kiddos waking up at the crack of dawn (no days off from early risers!), transitions to the beach with the fam, finds time for reading or watching a movie at home with something good to eat from Field of Greens, and ends with dinner outside in Palm Beach and a stroll around Rosemary Square / our neighborhood! Okay and maybe a little casamigos blanco, too.

When in New York, this day includes my sister & family and best friends, too, and subs out the beach for Adirondack mountains.

One thing you do every weekend without fail:

Have dinner out with just my husband.

Always start the work day with:

Breakfast! I take eating my daily English Muffin with raspberry jam seriously and even my husband skipping breakfast on most days can't sway me.

Books you always recommend:

The list is long because I truly love books. I’ll put them in categories.

For Fun: Group (Christie Tate) and Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (Taylor Jenkins Reid)

Working on Myself: Educated (Tara Westover), anything from Adam Grant, and Extreme Ownership (Jocko Willink)

For Relationships / Family: How to Raise Successful People (Esther Wojcicki) and Fair Play (Eve Rodsky)

My college degree is in:

French.

Favorite travel spot to-date:

Nice, France. I also love Barcelona. But you can't beat the beach & vibes on Longboat Key, FL, and Newport, RI, so those are a steady on my list, too.

Professional advice you were once given that you'd continue to give to others:

Work Smarter Not Harder.
